Radio Interview -1560 The Touch Women's History Month


Thank you Angela Anderson for the radio interview on March 28, 2015. Highlighting Women’s History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.

In January 2002 Pamela founded the The Emerging HOPE Family Strengthening Program. Emerging HOPE is a practical research based family strengthening program that aims to equip parents with the skills and understanding to raise their children with a commitment to lending a healthy lifestyle. Most of the families served are ethnically diverse, under-resourced single-parenting households.

Pamela is a proud 2002 honors alumnus of Western Michigan University (WMU), obtaining Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. While a student at WMU, Pamela was a Whitney Young, Jr. Scholar, Nathaniel McCaslin Scholarship Recipient, and member of Phi Alpha National Honor Society. A firm believer in higher education, Pamela is a 2008 graduate of Western Michigan University nationally ranked Master of Clinical Social Work program. Completing the program with a 3.8 GPA while raising three children as a single parent.

Pamela and her loving husband, Curtis, are the co-directors of The Emerging HOPE Family Strengthening Program.
